We had a great turnout at our opening for East West South North: The Howard A. Silverstein and Patricia Bleznak Silverstein Photography Studio Abroad: Beijing/China/2009 on May 21. The exhibit was the culmination of the semester long course and study abroad trip to Beijing in March. I showed five photographs from my individual project about an abandoned dormitory on a university campus.
The Silversteins themselves were present for the opening and we had the pleasure of meeting them and thanking them for their outstanding generosity. They provided such an amazing opportunity for all of us.
The very talented Michele Cooper of Cooper Graphic Design in Philadelphia designed an amazing catalog to accompany the exhibit. They are available at the gallery while supplies last!

The show is up until June 26 at the Addams Gallery on Penn's campus at 36th and Walnut. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm.
