I will be giving a short public talk at the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania tomorrow evening for their Whenever Wednesday series. The subject is the exhibition of Douglas Blau, an artist who appropriates vintage images on postcards, prints, and photographs and creates highly sequenced assemblages in grids. The ICA has asked five Penn students to choose a piece in the show and give our interpretations and perspectives. Come on by!
